BRASTER has signed a contract with the Warsaw University of Technology on designing and creating a physical thermodynamic model of breasts, fully compatible with the BRASTER TESTER device. The project forms part of the strategy, according to which the tester is to be introduced for direct sale for women in the second half of 2016. BRASTER S.A., which is now moving its quotations to the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), is the owner of a unique technology for breast cancer diagnostics.

The contract will be implemented under the INNOMED project. Its value totals PLN 300,000.

"The thermodynamic model of breasts will complement research under the INNOMED project, which will cover over 2,000 female participants. Its aim is to imitate neoplasmatic breast pathologies on the basis of a model, which will allow us to significantly expand our base of thermographic images and thereby increase efficiency of the BRASTER TESTER device,” – explains President of the Management Board of BRASTER S.A. Marcin Halicki.

The study carried out as part of the INNOMED project is to enable the comparison of the BRASTER TESTER device in diagnostics and differentiation of pathologies in women’s breast against standard diagnostic methods (in line with a new algorithm). It will be carried out by the Medical College at the Jagiellonian University on a group of over 2,000 women. The project was co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development in the amount of PLN 9.1 million (its total cost will amount to PLN 10.2 million).
