BRASTER’s President since Oct. 2014. He has an extensive experience in both equity investments and corporate management including restructuring, strategic goal identification, HR management and sourcing investors.
Earlier he worked with Luxmed for approximately 10 years including 2003-2008 as the president of the company’s management board. He was responsible for the initial acquisition of the company, growth management through the restructuring of the business model, strong organic development and acquisitions. He successfully sourced capital for further growth of the company three times and, finally, led the process of selling the company to a fund managed by MidEuropa Capital.
He started his career in 1992 with the Polish Ministry of Privatization as a manager of the "Privatization Through Restructuring Management Buyout Scheme". In 1993-1990 he worked with Bank Handlowy as its Equity Investment Office Director and in 1999-2001 with Templeton Direct Advisors, where he held the position of a Director for Emerging Europe Private Equity Funds.
He was also a Managing Partner of Cornerstone Partners and a co-founder of the Griffin Fund (a part of the Griffin Group, Real Estate Fund). In addition, he sat in supervisory boards of joint stock and limited companies including Luxmed, Polimex, Sipma, Bizon, Telefonia Pilicka, Synergia 99, Meble Emilia, and Kolprojekt.
He graduated from the International Trade Faculty of the Corvinus University in Bucharest (Hungary) and earned an MBA degree from the Hofstra University in New York (USA). He was also one of the founders, and the president, of the All-Polish Trade Union of the Private Health Care Sector at the Polish Employers (formerly Polish Employers Confederation).
In 2006 he was awarded a prestigious title of the “Private Health Care Manager of 2006”.
