He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics, and used to be a student of the University of Warsaw.
From 1999 to 2008 he worked for Deutsche Bank in Poland (DB Securities), where he acted, among others, as the Deputy Director of the Analysis Department. For the next two years he held management functions at Telekomunikacja Polska, including the position of the Director of the Strategy Division. He then worked for the Credit Suisse Investment Bank until 2011, and from 2012 to 2015 served as a Vice Strategy Officer at the Management Board of Emitel company.
Currently he works as an independent member of Supervisory Boards of companies listed on the WSE, such as: KGHM, KGHM International, KGHM TFI, BSC Drukarnia Opakowań, Action, Work Service, TIM, Best, Integer, SARE, Magellan, Robyg, InPost, Polimex-Mostostal, Duon, Polish Energy Partners, Graal, Wirtualna Polska, 4fun Media.
Krzysztof Kaczmarczyk also meets the criteria of independence as referred to in Provision II.Z.4 of "Best Practice of WSE Listed Companies 2016″.
